What to do when ripped off
Hi Guys,
I paid a well known guy on this site over a year ago to put together a kit and paint is.
All I have gotten is one excuse after another.
What would you do?

Thats a bummer man, i usually dont take any money upfront exactly for this reason. worst case i cant get to it all the client has lost is time and i pat fro return shipping, hope it all works out man

Curious who it is? If you dont want to post his name please PM me as I went through same crap and just received my piece back after about a year, still broke and the repaint is utterly a joke. My 10 year old could have done better...

I'd also be curious to know via PM. There are a number of talented and reliable customizers on the boards, but also a few bad apples. I don't like calling people out publicly because sometimes folks get in over their heads, have financial or personal problems, or other issues. In the past couple of years I've had three instances of people taking money and not delivering work. As a result I've stopped sending out for customs. There are still some folks I trust, but for others it's not worth the hassle.
