Got my first Bowen piece today. It's beautiful <3. Ignore the backdrop, it's a work in progress.

Yes lol, I've officially opened the Bowen door. Now that I have one 1/6 scale I'm going to need more. Fortunately Elektra is my only 1/5 scale so once I get my hands on the Daredevil Comiquette I can cross 1/5 off my list. As for Bowen, oh boy. Here we go.

Here we go is right. It's a slippery slope! Enjoy the ride!

The other Bowen piece I wanted was Ant-Man. Then I saw that selling price.

No! y u sai dis? :P

The definition on the red version is really good, but I like the armored look just as much. Can't go wrong with either, but the red is probably the one I'd want too.

Also, sweet Silver Surfer! I've been wanting to get that, but people sell Chrome and Aluminium painted versions too and I just can't decide lol.

I'm probably only going to go for a few Bowen pieces, and mostly just the action ones. For my favorites I'll get different kinds though. I'll do museum poses for Daredevil and Silver Surfer as well as action.

The armored suit is the worst lol. Actually, it's better than the terrible current comics. But yeah, I still want it. My LCS currently has one for $300 but I don't want to spend that much. I picked up the Silver Surfer from my LCS for $250 which I didn't think was too bad.

That's actually a pretty good price for the Surfer. I saw the same one at a comic store here and they wanted $450 I think. Canadian mind you but even with the exchange that's far too much. I'm trying to work on getting a chromed version of the action surfer for around that.

Creations n Chrome will chrome it for you if you were to find a painted one. They are reasonable and word on the street is they do great work.
