What Scale Should The Shao Kahn With Throne Statue Be?

Hi, folks. As Jerry recently confirmed that the Shao Kahn sitting on his throne statue WILL happen[YES!!!], I just thought i'd ask, what scale would you like to see it get made in?[Personally, i'd like to see it made in 1/4, as at 1/3, I just think it would be WAY too big, as you'd have the throne, aswell as Kahn himself.Thouhts?[and if you're reading this Jerry, feel free to confirm which scale it will be also. Cheers!

As discussed in the other thread I definitely agree with your thinking but believe the reasons for 1/3 outweigh those for 1/4.

The 1/3 line needs a Kahn, 3 in 1/4 is too many and a 1/4 Klassic Kahn on throne would invalidate much of the reason for owning the current Klassic 1/4.

1/3 eliminates half the possible buyers just on size. It would be bigger that goro

Hmm not sure how you arrive at half but there would for sure be potential customers that would not purchase a 1/3.

There would also be potential customers that would not purchase a 1/4.

It is logical to figure that most that would be interested in any PCS Kahn on throne would already have purchased from PCS's MK line(s) and would be familiar with their previous Kahn offerings and have one or both.

I highly doubt a character absent for years from the latest game would attract a whole new customer base.

For me I'd love a Kahn centrepiece 1:3 would be a stand out in any room ...To make another 1:4 when one is about to ship is kinda overkill especially with the MK9 version as well ...1:3 Will need a Kahn as mentioned above ...Goro 1:3 was said to be too big and he was limited but also more costly than other PCS pieces but what do ya know sold out super fast i think Kahn 1:3 will do the same

1/4 for me. 1/3 would be epic, but depending on the throne, the footprint has potential to be ginormous in that scale. 1/4 just seems more practical, but we shall see.

There's nothing reasonable about this stuff whether it's 1/4 or 1/3.

By the time you factor in other pieces in a line or other collections, the boxes, display area etc 1/3 just doesn't make that much of a difference and constraining pieces to the cheapest cabinet options (I'm looking at you Ikea) isn't a compromise I welcome or consider acceptable. Also doing another 1/4 Kahn just punishes customers that bought the earlier 2 as nearly anyone would rather have a throne Kahn as their Klassic Kahn.

When people think 1/3 they let their assumptions and feelings run away with them.
Clearly 1/3 is bigger but not by that much.

Let's say the throne is to be a 6 foot square in real life which is still probably larger than any rendition of the throne but let's go with it as an upper bound. The height won't be a consideration since Shao will be sitting.

In 1/4 it would be 18 inches square and in 1/3 it would be 24 inches square.
So 1/3 would only be an additional 3 inches on each side.

I don't want to pay $1000+ to sacrifice having a 1/3 Shao Kahn for a 6 inch square smaller footprint. We have a 1/3 Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Mileena, Kitana, and Goro 1/3, with hopefully future pieces in 1/3 so why not a 1/3 Kahn?

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.
