Starlin Silver Surfer Splash and Noto Gwen Stacy

Yesterday I went to the NC Comic Con with my youngest son. It was a small show in Raleigh-Durham. Very well attended and crowded with an unusually large number of people dressed as Dr Who or Who characters.

I was fortunate to be able to pick up these two pieces

The first is a Silver Surfer splash by Jim Starlin and Andy Smith from The Infinity Finale graphic novel.

Next up is a Gwen Stacy by Phil Noto. He wasn't doing color pieces at this show.

I definitely will go back to the show. It's about 2 hours away so not too far. Really enjoyed being able to meet up with some fellow board members and to spend time with just one kid.

Very nice pieces Bill. I'm sorry I didn't catch up with you. I tried to find you, but there were just too many people to fight through in the Convention Center.

Once I read the post re your Cap jam, I believe you were standing about 5 people in front of me while waiting to get in. I was the one with the small ninja turtle in a red coat running all about and, another give away, the portable oxygen compressor.
