Heritage Auctions

Man, every time I try to make a run at a piece on a HA auction I get reminded by how much money is chasing art. I've got one bid left standing, hopefully it will stay alive

It's amazing how little $1000 can get you in art today. It seems just a few years ago that you could get a cover or close to a cover for that amount of money. I was out of the heritage auction about 3 days into the bidding this time around. Instead I amSaving up for Comiclink and HA's Februrary auction.

Were you looking at those Batman covers? I was following both of them.

Ha. Yeah, was following the breyfogle. Had what I thought was a good bid in but for it to break 2k without a decent a shot of batman was too rich for me

But you are right. .1k cant get you much nowadays which is wild.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

dang, there is a sweet Kubert Hulk cover on comiclink. I am the higher bidder now but I know that won't last. One guy had most of the Kubert Hulk covers, guess he finally decided to let one go. Would be nice but going to end up being pricey I think.
