I totally agree, if you are a Daredevil fan, this looks like THE statue to own (at least right now).

I am assuming a bunch of DD fans will be kicking themselves down the line or need to pay seriously inflated after-market prices.

DD has never been a big character for me, so I only really want one version in my collection and I already have the XM statue.

This statue looks a little better, I really like the stained glass backdrop and the pose, which pushes DD to the forefront.

The XM sliding pose is also very dynamic, but it doesn't "pop" as much IMHO as this DD.

Unless my WL converts, which will force me to make a tough decision, ultimately I just couldn't pull the trigger to pick up this version, combined with the hassle of selling the XM statue.

But for all of the DD fans out there, this statue should be an easy choice. I am shocked that only 600 were made and it took this long to sell out.

I think it’s because 2400 Daredevil fans bought the Sideshow PF just a few years ago.

Iron Studios edition sizes are usually under a 1000 and 600 is actually on the higher end of their ES. The Wolverine they did a few years ago only had an ES of 300. Based on the less than stellar paint apps for Daredevil I think they should stick with the lower end of edition sizes. Something that took this long to release should've come out looking nearly identical to the prototype, and although it's awesome, it's not on that level.

I do agree this is the DD to own, at least for now. XM or SS could always do another one though and I don't think we've gotten a first appearance piece in 1/4 scale. That would really be something to see.

I'm still waiting on mine. It was supposed to be here Tuesday, but FedEx has delayed it due to some weather delay. Hopefully there's an update tonight or in the morning.

It is interesting, I have several friends that really like Daredevil and they tend to be minimalists. They get one and are done.

Meanwhile, when it comes to my favorite character, Thor, I am an insane hoarder trying to get anything and everything Thor related, lol.

I'm actually thinking of picking up the Sideshow Elektra to go with this. Not sure if she's in IS's radar
