I believe there are many similar looking statues in the Sexy Creature thread.
It doesn't really need to be Chun Li. It could be any generic female character dressing like Chun Li.

The TriEagles Chun Li was also officially licensed and it looks nothing like her. Didn't Jerry used to say that Capcom was extremely picky about Chun Li's likeness in official products? What happened to that? Was it just Ono who cared and modern Capcom just wants the money? I still can't believe the Marvel vs Capcom Infinite Chun Li fiasco.

Well Chun-Li is the most popular female afterall. You can't blame companies for prioritizing her over the likes of cammy and others..
Chun-li's merch are everywhere. She is Capcom's cash cow tbh. She has more merch than Ryu and the rest.
Mai is KOF'S counterpart of Chun-li. these two ladies commands Sales.
