Something about the Link design still bothers me. I can't put my finger on it. I sort of get that uncanny valley feeling when looking at it.

In my opinion, my Toon Link Amiibo seems to capture the essence of Link more than the sculpt of this piece. I hope that changes once I see the whole piece.

I feel the same way. I think it's his proportions . The F4F version that was teased seems "lanky" to me. Hopefully once I see him on the boat he will look better to me .

I myself would've preferred less detail and brighter colors more inline with the game. Not sure I want this looking dark / detailed with mixed media but I'll wait for the full reveal before deciding.
