I think this and Hulk Transformation are the two best licensed statues ever for both characters. I would love a Cap and Iron Man with the same level of attention and detail.

The layering of the chainmail armor so the scales rest on top of each other.
The expression on his face.
The refined details like the pattern on his helmet, the sculpting of the helmet wings, the stitch lines in his clothing, the broken sections of armor...
I’m really not checking for a Thor statue but this looks absolutely incredible.
THIS is how you do a comic book costume with just the right amount of non-comic tweaks to make it more detailed than what appears in the comics without going overboard and just making unnecessary changes.

As always price will determine if I can get one.
And just saw he is up @ SpecFiction. More than I can afford for one piece.

Yes to both, but a modern comic book Iron Man at this level is LONG overdue. Every 1/4 IM release is movie armor aside from XM’s version of the Classic comic armor a little bit ago and the IM that came with Hulkbuster, which was great, but it wasn’t it’s own sold separately piece, it came with Hulkbuster.

I'm a big Thor fan, classic or modern. Bowen museum still one of my favorite classic Thor pieces. This looked to good to pass on so I ordered. This will be my 2nd XM after Ghost Rider so I'm expecting to be really impressed.
This and the Acme Hellboy, that things exceptional.

If you're referring to the 1/3 piece, it looks great but it's to big for me. Even though this new modern at 1/4 will still be large it's still manageable.
