Freman,

When you start on your basement have a scout around for stores that are going out of business. Often you can get the display cabinets (like those they use at your LCS) a damn sight cheaper than new. Plus they'd be adjustable.

I will do.
I could have got some great cabinets for a store that went belly up, I just didn't have the room at the time.

I really wish I would have picked some up. They had a huge very beautiful Franklin Mint cabinet that would have been perfect for me as I have a lot of Franklin Mint stuff.

Dude, you're a pretty awesome chick.

I scored a SSW Fell Beast not long ago on ebay as well. Low number too, killer price, #50.

I just saw a collection today that truely blew my mind.
I've never seen such a collection and got to see pieces I never ever thought I'd get to see in person.

Not to mention the guy made all of his display cabinets himself and the are just unreal. Huge, deep with great lighting. I was just floored. Wish soooo badly that I had taken my camera.

I got to see the 1:1 Alien head which is something I can't even put into words. Fantastic. Made my collection look babyish.

I bought the Kiss PF off of him tonight.

Do you think you can get back into the dude's house and get some photos? From your description it sounds a lot like how I plan to build up my room, and I draw inspiration and ideas from looking at other people's work.

I will get back there at some point. I have to take my sister to see it and he is someone I deal with often.

Next time, the camera is coming!

I finally got my Predator bust up on my detolf but I tell you, I seriously almost killed myself. I almost fell off the chair backwards with it in my hands.

It took me around 4 trys to get him up there because his 'teeth' kept on hooking under my boobs and then I couldn't lift him any higher.
You guys don't know how easy you have it.
I finally turned him around and then lifted him up. This is when he almost fell backwards.

He's never, ever, coming down from this spot!

Got my kiss boys in that room as well. Took me around 4 hours of moving stuff around to squeeze them in.
