DC Universe Classics ATOM SMASHER... anybody got an advance pic?

Somebody calling the shots on this line is making great choices... Wave 7's "collect-and-connect" figure is the modern JSA's Atom Smasher.

I know there were some advance pics of the Flash and Kid Flash in Wave 7 on some of the toy show sites... anybody got a link to a photo of the Atom Smasher figure?

Thanks in advance...

1x Flash with stand
1x Kid Flash
1x Captain Cold
1x Big Barda
1x Blue Beetle
1x Booster Gold
1x Aquaman Blue

KF, CC, Barda, Beetle, Booster and Aquaman Blue each ship with a piece of Atom Smasher.

If I read the announcement correctly, Flash ships with a stand, but no BAF piece. They're also re-releasing the Batman and Green Lantern figures from earlier waves in tandem with this one (with stands, no BAF pieces, like the Flash.)

bbts.com has these up for pre-order.

This is the only collect and connect figure I've been intrested in so far, and it's fortunate that I like most of the characters in the wave. There've been some Marvel Legends BAF's that I've passed on because I don't want to buy a bunch of guys I don't care about to get the big fig. Looks like Mattel is doing a great job in their character selection so far.

Prices on the individual figures have gone up a lot over the last couple of years, but luckily, most BAFs and c-n-c figures can still be had on eBay for $30 - $35. So I went for ML's Galactus, Apocalypse, and Onslaught (and already had Giant-Man from buying the whole case and unloading the loose figures I didn't want.)

Likewise, the sculpts on Mattel's Grodd and Solomon Grundy figures were just too damn good to pass up (much better than DC Direct's versions of the same characters), so I bought them for about $30 apiece.

I'm hyped about some of the figures in Wave 7, and I definitely want the Atom Smasher, so I pre-ordered the whole set. The blue-costume Aquaman is a nice surprise, and the Captain Cold and Kid Flash figures look like improvements over DCD's late-90s versions. Not sure I need new sculpts of Barry Allen Flash, Big Barda, Booster Gold and Blue Beetle, though...

i agree about the Grundy being the best version yet, but i actually like the DCD Grodd better, the BaF one is a great figure, but he has no personality at all, he just looks like a generic ape with a helmet, i really wish the horsemen would've given him a little evil smirk
