$100 was my limit for 1:10 statues. I don't see myself building any teams from this line. Maybe if down the line they come out with a really great statue for a character I love, I'll get it.
This could have been a huge success if they got their pricing right. But considering their regular ArtFX+ and bishoujos now flirt with the $100 mark, I'm not surprised.

I second that. I missed out on the original Fine Art classic avengers. This would have been a great spot to re-do the characters in their classic costumes. Cap looks good, but I already bought their 1/6 scale Modern Myth Cap for $110 a year ago. I've been wanting a good classic Thor for awhile now, but have absolutely no interest in Iron Man or this iteration of Thor. I can't see this line doing very well. And for the love of God, come up with more creative bases other than rock or concrete (Gamora, Thanos, Dr. Strange, Artfx premier line, New Avengers line except for Thanos, Modern Myth Cap).

Depending on the price, I'm thinking of getting the Hulk, too.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I dunno. The shoulder seams on Koto's Hulks have always bothered me. Will have to see one in person before deciding.

Hope they expand this line to the DC stuff. Might wait to see if the prices drop down the road.

Putting out these PO's so quickly must mean Kotobukiya is really serious about this line. I just hope they aren't a slave to the Fresh Start theme like they were with Marvel Now. My gut tells me it's the license that says they have to do current versions of the characters in 1/10 because if this is a choice they are hurting themselves.

I’m sure the license dictates everything. Seems this wave is 2 current and 2 classic versions. At least, their interpretations.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

It's just lucky that Cap's Fresh Start costume is still his classic one.
