I havent read it yet!

The story has been amazing, but the artwork has not held up its end IMO!

I dunno, I'm a fan of Lark's art. It's subtle and not so in your face like a lot of artists these days...

One of my favorite Superman stories is from the excellent Jim Starlin DC Presents run (I wish this would get collected) when Superman goes up against Spectre and Superman simply needs to get past him. Superman tries his best with all his strength to simply past the Spectre and fails. Spectre teaches him that even with all his abilities there are some things even he can't do or change. B_C seek out this issue (I'm sure it's cheap) give it a read.
That's because the spectre rocks! Spectre is one of my favorite DC characters.

I buy so many comcis a week that I ususally flip throug the superman but buy the comics that seem to have some appeal. This one didnt.

However, I will be reading next month's arc with Earth 2 superman.

He is a talented artist who impacts the industry to this day. His art style brought Batman from cartoony to a more noir feel and probably saved the franchise from the campy stench of Adam West.

I am also now looking forward to a decent appearance by Jericho Drumm aka Brother Voodoo. We really need a Bowen bust of this colorful character from the 70's.
I ordered all three of these last night from DCBS. You can't go wrong at $32 each.

Mad, you're going to be really happy with these. Printed on really nice paper stock, too, to boot.

From last week's reviews.
