WK, Superman has been solid these last few issues, great review. Do you think the "buzzing" in his head is going any further?
Aarrgghh!!, thanks for bringing this up. I forgot to comment on that buzzing. I'm not sure what it is or what's causing it. I thought it was the reemergence of his powers but now I'm not sure. My hope is we'll learn more with the next issue of Action Comics.

But the effects only last when Eros is around. Her submissiveness (as Samson I believe?) is kinda odd for Jen. And notice how she changed into Jen because "John" like's me better this way, Shulkie would never do that. I'm guessing all of this going on is the cause of the block that's preventing Jen from turning into the She-Hulk. When she was trying to use her bracelet to change into She-Hulk she couldn't but when she got super mad, it pinged about massive radiation and the like and she instantly changed because she was super pissed at Eros.

I dunno, there's something bigger at play here.

Could the buzzing simply be his super-hearing coming back to him?

You could well be right, but I thought the change in her behavior began last issue when Eros "suggesed" to her how right John is for her. We'll see though as Pug appears to be on the case.

Your Superman review is spot on. I can't remember the last time I was so giddy about a comic book. That last panel blew me away, I felt like a kid again. I'm looking forward to every next issue like it was Christmas.

Has anyone else read this book, or the other Stan Lee books from the 1970s:

Origins of Marvel Comics
Son of Origins of Marvel Comics
Bring on the Bad Guys
The Marvel Superhero Women
Marvel's Greatest Superhero Battles

I loved this last book. Reading it is like a slice of fanboy Heaven.

I remember BEGGING my mom to mail order the Origins of Marvel Comics, it took forever to arrive, but once it did I read that book over and over until it literally fell apart. I need to pick those up again, they should be required reading. I think they were published in HC format even.....hmmmm.

Indeed. I've seen pristine copies at cons on sale for $100 and, if signed by Stan, $200. But maybe they can be found in HC for less. I've thought about getting the HC versions even though I have them all in paperback.

I agree. They should be required reading!
