Ugh. That cinemaquette is absolutely horrible. JND will be far, far superior to that in every way.

Yes, the colour balance on that video is awful. What on earth were they thinking when they lit it like that. Let's hope the full reveal shows us the overall improvements although I had come to really like the previous "updated hair and lighting" version shown on the Big Bad Toy Store website photos.

It does look like they adjusted the girth and length of the neck, and possibly expanded the jawline, all of which were what was mainly needed.
But unless this is all due to the lousy lighting, it looks to me like they've introduced structure that doesn't belong there, which may still negatively impact the overall likeness.

Hopefully this is just a result of the crappy photography, but right now I'm wincing at the hint of what I'm seeing.
And what's with the scraggly hair in back? You go to all the trouble of this teaser BS and then you can't be bothered to finesse and futz with the damn thing, until it's near perfect?
Where's a good facepalm gif?

Has it gotten better or worse? It now reminds me a bit of Tom Cruise.

I think it's a little early to be doing photo manips when we've only seen the lower part of the face and haven't even seen the whole reveal yet. I'm reserving judgement until we've seen better photos of the improved portrait.

For me, I need to see the whole face to determine if it’s any good.

If I can see the actor at a quick glance (InArts’s Aragorn), I’ll probably order it, but if it takes me scrutinising every square inch, I’ll probably skip it again.

Looking forward to seeing the improvements

I may pull the trigger if I’m impressed

Two steps forward, a short moonwalk back.

Nice to see they did shift the iris over so that he doesn't look focused on something inches in front of his face.

It also looks like they got the neck right in girth and length.

Unfortunately the chin, mouth, and structure around them isn't as strong as it should be. They had those elements closer on the first sculpt IMO.
