DC Comics will revert back in 1 to 2 years. Gentlemen's bet
Vote here and in 1-2 years the losers will have to publicly say they were wrong and agree the winners were right.

Revert back to what exactly? Most of the main/successful comics are basically staying the same.

From checking out the solicits and from various things I've read, I really don't think there's going to be much of a difference in most of the popular comics, even if they're renumbered. Nothing on par with say, when they got rid of the Multiverse.
But I could be completely wrong, it's a little hard to tell until it actually happens and we all see how significant the difference actually is.

A Gentlemen's bet implies that there's gentlemen on here, and it seems white gloves are in short supply.
I hope this stupid new stunt of DC's is as short-lived as possible; that company's characters have been through enough, lately.

I think it has more to do with reaching a milestone ... with Detective's next issue being 878, I think that people were just looking forward to having that target issue 1000 to salivate over.
