Not the same statue but I'm buying the XM White Magneto and after markup, it comes to about $900 USD and that's before shipping is factored in.

I am just talking about the statue itself. But I’m not sure what conversion you’re using. The listed price was 990 SGD. Convert that to USD and it’s $747.
Shipping will be probably the standard 300SGD.

This looks good, but I can't quite figure out why this is $750? Crazy...

For perhaps Europe and Asia XM may be comparable in price. But in at least NA XM usually beats no one in pricing. Sorry shipping is a thing and paying $200 to $400 for shipping absolutely factors into a statues price. And that's after the markup to the statue normally. A 1/4th is usually 1k at least. You can complain about Magneto pricing all you want. But if you're in NA paying XM pricing plus the shipping your complaining rings hollow.

For the price tag, we should get a sculpted cape!

I also think that when they release a Juggernaut, it will be a Maquette priced at $1200+ since he is even bigger than Thanos

We use the same conversion. I didn’t pull the trigger on Storm yet because I have too many pre orders and I keep adding plus I figured I could get this cheaper in the after market.

I agree with both points. Mags cape should have been fully sculpted and I dread to think what a Juggy MAQ will cost whenever they get around to releasing him. Of course we'll probably get another Emma, Mystique, Rogue, or Wolverine before Juggy gets released.

Maybe they think there would be massive blowback if they produced a PVC cape. For some reason, PVC doesn't bother me when it comes to capes. Much better than fabric.

I don’t mind PVC capes at all. Iron studios does that with their dioramas and they come out great. I would much prefer that to any fabric
