Some shots of my SS Magneto (repainted) i just acquired. This piece commands such a presence and i absolutely love it! The background is a custom poster i usually make for my 1/4 pieces. Enjoy!

Pics look good. This statue is slowly growing on me. I want a Magneto for my collection, but I really wish he was more classic and had the trunks. But I don’t think we will be getting another Magneto anytime soon so if I want one for my X-men collection, this is gonna have to be it.

Sideshow still has the EX in stock and has free shipping so I’m tempted, but I think I would need this to go on sale as well. Price is just too high for a piece I don’t necessarily need atm.

Their art director at the time didn’t like the trunks look so that’s why we got this.

Very cool with the battle damage, hope you love him.

I'm looking to get mine repainted but might hold it off until end of the year/next year. I dig the sculpt, but would prefer to have a deeper red with some good shading.

It is pretty under rated, but i guess purist couldn't deal with him not having the undies/sculpted cape.

A shame, the cape is very high quality and with some time, you can get it looking amazing. My current pose, inspired by Bmutha:

My only nitpick is those long silver things on the extension of the base. The prototype of the first reveal of magneto, the base didnt have those long silver stuff and I always thought it looks simpler and less distracting

You can display him without them. I hate them too, and mine have never left the box.

The biggest one on the left I took out, the other smaller part i leave on and have the cape cover flow and cover the silver parts.
