Just finished it. Liked it but it dragged significantly. Cage was great. All in all, just okay and not nearly as strong as Daredevil.

Nothing direct but his mind control of Jessica inadvertently caused the death of Reva when a bus crash occurred due JJ fighting his influence IIRC.

Finally watched the rest of Jessica Jones after watching the first 5 episodes when this first came out. I'm not into the adult comic book angle Netflix put into this one, and also in to Luke Cage, but I did enjoy some things about this show, and Luke Cage as well. I never read any comics that Jessica Jones was in, so I had no idea about the character at all before watching this series. The Purple Man/Killgrave was a Daredevil villain in the comics I read. David Tennant did a good job of playing the scumbag that is the purple man. Krysten Ritter was also very interesting playing the frayed psyche that it appears is Jessica Jones. Ritter is strangely attractive, while also being slightl repugnant. But that just seems to add to her overall appeal. I didn't like the way the shotgun took Cage down. I just don't see that happening in the comics, but this is the cinematic/television treatment, so we get what we get. But, it was still quite entertaining in it's own right. Curious to see what direction they go now that the season 1 story arc is completed.

It was especially odd when you consider how he casually walked out of that exploding bar.
