Palisades Devastator Transformers Statue

This is more of an informational thing then anything else but it looks like the Palisades Devastator is on on the rise. When Palisades closed down the run of 1000 Devastator statues was cancelled and only 421 were produced. As evidenced by these auction prices it has exceeded its original retail value of $200 to about $300 so if any of you are looking for this piece I would recommend trying to track it down now before it gets any higher. I just got mine. Interestingly the production number on the box and piece reflect the new production run of 421.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Yeah I got mine right before SDCC and love it! This thing kept getting delayed and delayed, but I'm glad Palisades finally got them done before they closed up shop. The statue is amazing and the paint apps are fantastic. Definitely a must for any Transformer fan.

Always wondered why the run was only 421. Glad my order came through on it. It is a really nice piece.

I remember at last year's NYCC, there was a dealer with a lot of the Transformers statues that said he dealt directly with Palisades and that the Devastator statue was canceled and never being released. Was looking for him at this year's show, but he wasn't there.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Did anyone see this auction?

The winner bid on the first day of the auction and was never outbid. I wonder what his top bid was.
