Ok so first a disclaimer: I really haven't heard of this character before, but judging by the photos I'd say do a black basecoat with maroon or dark purple highlights.

In the first Guyver Live Action film, the striated areas
were a maroon color (live human muscle tissue).
In the second film, those areas were closer to the anime
series color (being more of a dark grey with deep purple
highlights)
The Max Factory live action Guyver kit was based on the
suit from the first film, but I would say paint it the way
you feels looks best. One of the great things about a
model kit is that you and do it the way that makes you
happiest.
(I personally like the colors better in the second film)

I have done this piece for a collector before, unfortunately I did not get a chance to take pics. But what I did was used Testors British Crimson as a base, then used Citidel inks (chestnut and Brown) to shadow, and followed it up with both British Crimson and red highlights, finishing it off by sealing it all with Tamya's Clear Red. I think it came out very nice, but as with all things, it is really up to the artist as to what they should use.
I am hoping that in the near future I get a chance to do this piece again for myself, although if I do it will most likely be one of the recast kits.
