I suspect that this announcement precludes the actress and actor associated to Circe and Ares. I suspect that that casting will be announced when the characters are revealed as the villains.

Ditto. Green is the most talented actress ATM IMHO and would be a massive asset not only to this film but the DCEU.

I have to agree. I'm hoping for the best but physically I just don't see her as Wonder Woman. Is she no longer supposed to be an amazon warrior?
Not saying she needs to be huge but GG is much to waif-like to be WW imo.
