a small update on a project... nearing completion on the maxx and savage dragon (at least ready for paint) but this little guy is ready right now. this Isz is a companion piece for the maxx, i had originally not intended on making one of these but after having to remove the feet and hands off of blanka for the conversion i couldnt let them go to waste

i had to remove a couple fingers and reduce the total size of each by about 30% but i think they worked out really nicely

the rest is scratch built mostly from aves. there is a threaded rod that runs from the feet to head and another from hand to hand through the head to give it a lot of structure. the teeth were shaped from wood then coated in poured resin to make them solid but also gave them a cool finish that i dont think will need to be painted now

hopefully more project updates soon and phase 2 of the cave is also just about complete as well. just waiting on the electrician to hook up my new lights and i can post some pics

thanks guys, i was really pleasantly surprised with how this turned out. usually when i start a project i have an idea of what i want to do but dont always know how im going to do it. this little guy was a great example of that, the teeth especially. i put this off until just about last because i didnt really want to do it

LOL yes! i was honestly more familiar with the maxx from the show as well when i was a kid. staying up late and watching all that weird stuff late at night on MTV, good times...
