it's a great looking statue, alas, I just don't care for any of the Preds since Wolf. I still don't like the armor.

Wait, what? Are you serious?

"painted extremely well"

"looks great"

Honestly I'm shocked and saddened to read that as I think this looks quite terrible. It reminds me of Sideshow's 1/5th predator statues - maybe even worse. I feel confident that I could paint that myself with my 0 skill. It looks like a bunch of browns and beiges very sloppily slapped on.

It's just so obviously painted. I go to Prime 1 for the quality I got with their Deathstroke. I want this to look like real predator skin.

It's only the first photo though so hopefully by some miracle it will look entirely different in the ones to come, for my sake.

I didn't care for the armor at first but it's grown on me quite a bit. I always liked the bio-mask. Wolf never did much for me and after seeing the new film, this predator would ---- all over him. I've never seen a predator with such extreme brutality, reflexes, and ability to improvise.

Besides I think this is the best looking unmasked predator since P2. The face and head shape are gorgeous.

I have to agree...the unmasked head looks good.It maybe could use some gloss to have a natural Predator appearance but that's an easy thing to do yourself if you'd want to.
The paintjob on the crown of the life size is something else and lacks severely depth...much more so than the statue does imho.

Well I did something to decide myself: seening the movie.

What a bad, boring, meaningless movie. I see the pics now and reminds me all of that bad feeling.

Well lucky me I don't have to buy anything of this

ALL the predator movies are bad ALL OF THEM. The first one is the only exception. I think people have convinced themselves that these movies are better than they really are. The thing that kept the predator franchise alive for merchandising is the cool looking monster and their connection to ALIEN. With this fugitive predator statue Prime 1 has delivered a cool looking monster statue in great quality.

while I enjoyed Prometheus and covenant EVEN the alien movies aren't really that great anymore only the trilogy is great. So i wouldn't let a lackluster movie put me off of a great statue and if you like this statue i suggest you look pass any misgiving you may have had about the movie.
