1/3. The partnership between Prime 1 and CP began and ended with the Dog Alien. Prime 1 now have their own Alien license and are actively working on their own Warrior and Big chap Aliens. Word is that they will offer the big Chap in 1/4 and 1/3, no idea if the Warrior will receive the same treatment.

Apparently the pose was somewhat dictated to them by the license holder. Probably hindered this one from the start.

Can a mod please remove Prime 1 from the title of this thread.

Yeah, why don't they just resculpt the whole thing? Lol! The Geometric was always off in my eyes with the huge head and hands.

For those of you in the USA who ordered the P1 Dog statue from Sideshow, anyone still waiting for theirs? Seems like everyone got it but me. :-)

Thanks!!

Oof, this thread needs some updating. The following pics were posted by the artist back in July.

From artist beesub's Facebook page:

1/3 scale Warrior Alien I did for @coolprops_pr. This sample paint prototype (not final) is currently on display at SDCC 2019 on @sideshowcollectibles booth. I was in charge of Concept & Art Direction as well as 3d sculpt of course. You can see more of it on my instagram as well (beesub).

Liking this one the more I see it. The base is indeed too large, but at least the design of it is nicer than the Prime 1. Were it scaled down, it'd be absolute perfection. Pose looks good too.

My only fears at this point are the final paintjob and CP dumping too heavy of a gloss coat on top. I know the details on the original model for this are as sharp as Prime 1's, but you'd never be able to tell in these photos due to the thick lacquer they use.

This is a close one, both P1 and CP have elements I love but one has an egg with a facehugger. I like CP's color choice but P1's version looks like an animal waiting to pounce vs a guy in a suit....but I would be happy with either version.
