The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

As I was leafing through his incredible collection, I came across a couple classic covers... Thanks for posting this guy's site. What a unexpected (if not priveledged) treat this was...

This guy has some pieces that would make any collector envious. Wonder what he does for a living? Whatever it is, he's making good money to be able to afford the likes of this level of original comic book art.

Wonder what his best piece is as far as value and significance?

When I saw first that FF #55 cover at that collector's website, it's like time stood still... Stan Lee and Jack Kirby had already done so much for the industry and there was still so much more left in the tank...

In just that year (issues 44-55), Kirby and Lee had created the Inhumans, the Black Panther, the Silver Surfer, Galactus, and wrote one of the greatest FF stories ever entitled "This Man, This Monster". Coming up was a classic multi-parter with Doom and the Surfer.

I know some of the younger fans prefer Cable, Cannonball, and Bishop comics, but this is the stuff that did it for me.

This guy brought the Iron Fist cover by my booth at the NYC Con. Could've been had there for a bit LESS...I'm not in the market for that type of item, though. It looks a little like a Gil Kane cover to me (NOT Byrne), but the heavy inks by Al Milgrom make it hard to tell. Cool piece of comic history, though!

A bit less.

I don't think spending that is a good deal at all! I'm cheap, though, but c'mon. Even at 25K its not a great deal (IMHO).
