SINCE X-FACTOR IS BEING CANCELLED....

....wouldn't it be cool to see Peter David on the Avengers? Nobody writes Quicksilver better, and he's already laid down the invitation to Polaris through Wanda....!
I would LOVE to see this happen!

I didn't even know it was being cancelled. I had to look up the story: http://www.newsarama.com/22298-all-n...s-creator.html

Seems Marvel is being very quiet about it...

I'd be down for that (if he took over Avengers), but knowing Marvel, it'll likely never happen as they want one of their "biggest" guys on it regardless of the story they deliver.

I really love All-New X-Factor and seeing it go will be a shame. Hopefully Spidey 2099 has some legs to it as I need some monthly David writing to make me a happy reader

The thing that kind of gets me is the fact that it's numbers aren't all that bad....almost 21,000 copies in September. Yes, it's lost around 1,000 readers a month since it's launch, but so has pretty much every other book!
AVENGERS WORLD, BLACK WIDOW, MIGHTY AVENGERS and SHE-HULK are all between 20,000-24,000 copies a month now (these being the books I collect), but I know there are a number of other books already under 20,000, so I am kind of surprised that they've singled X-FACTOR out!

Peter David writing just about anything, makes it a must read for me. Avengers would be good, but I would love to see him take over the Guardians for a few years.

bummer about X-Factor being cancelled, but as long as Peter David keeps writing comics I'll keep reading them.

Interesting.....according to September's sales figures, the following books are all selling (considerably) less than X-FACTOR:

THUNDERBOLTS
GHOST RIDER
SECRET AVENGERS
INVADERS
ELEKTRA
NEW WARRIORS (I think they're cancelled)

I'm sad to see X-Factor go (again). The latest issue where Polaris and Scarlet Witch try to spend some quality sister time together was very funny.

My only criticism is that Doug Ramsey's powers haven't been showcased well enough (if at all). His place on the team is very similar to Rictor in the previous series before he got his powers back.

I loved the interaction between Wanda and Lorna! Along with the Gorgon issue, my favorite so far!

Not so thrilling...the artwork. Just never warmed up to it. And if Doug, Warlock and Danger were to disappear....well, I wouldn't be terribly upset!

One other thing that's interesting.....aside from INVADERS, these are all relaunches of titles that have already had two or three runs! Maybe Marvel needs to take the hint and try something NEW!!!!
