Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Stupid question but Does a metal print come in a tube and you bend it flat or does it ship flat to you?

Thanks Nick. I'm pretty blown away by how well the metal works on something like this. I'm totally sold on the concept now. I wish they would do more of these when it makes sense thematically like it does with Robocop, Iron Man 2 and Drive.

No they ship flat. No way you could bend this. Think of a shiny piece of sheet metal with inks applied to it. Its quite sturdy. The guy I dealt with went to the show and did a masterful job packing this for me. It was sandwiched between two pieces of foam core that were then sandwiched between two pieces of plywood all taped together then covered in 3 additional layers of cardboard. Practically bulletproof.

In a perfect world all prints would come flat.

Nice pick up mate!

I was tempted to go for the Craig Drake Kaneda in metal for a second today. Then I read about people getting it early on expressobeans. And I looked at the print a bit more and decided against both versions.

Yep, but I don't know about that plywood part. That metal must be heavy or something. I was thinking it was a light aluminum type of metal.

HB, that's wicked. The Cityscape is my favorite of the two. Is yours signed? I've seen some where Tyler etched his signature.

No, it's not signed. The guy that bought mine didn't want to go back the next day to have it signed given he spent 30hrs. in line on day 1 just getting this. Can't say I blame him.

I'm not sure if I'd want a signed one now that I have this in hand though. I think I'd be a bit nervous at how good a signature would come off etched into the metal. Might look a bit rough and one of the print's biggest assets is how smooth and shiny it looks.
