We did a ton of those way back when they were first released for a place called Slaphead Comics in Dallas. Converted a bunch of them to the traditional Superman colors as well. Before the smaller, full-color versions were ever released. We're working on a colorized version of the full-size Shazam as one of our projects right now. Brings back memories of our early Ebay days!

We were either using Ceramcoat acrylics or Freak-Flex paints and I think they were selling them for $400.00 - $500.00 a pop. They were real novelties back then. The Shazam actually sold for more.

I can't remember exactly...I think we did about 15 of them over a period of time. Once DC started releasing the mini-statues the interest died off but it's been a while so you may do pretty good with this piece. Good luck!!!

Hey Wizard Comics I see in your auction where you state "The Best Superman Statue Ever" now you don't really believe that do you? That's just the car salesman in you talking right?

I think that phrase has been attached to every Superman statue listed on Ebay!
