Maybe you can talk them into a bust line that issues more than 6 pieces in a year and to continuing it for a few years.
I would love if they did more busts and I would be happy to work on some. The Art director really liked my Hawkman bust and wants me to send it to him so he can display it on his desk. Thats cool.

madjazz, like i said, i will keep working for Randy if he wants me for a certain project.

Words cant describe how cool this is. I hope it's just the start.

Boy this is bittersweet for me. I mean its great that your still doing Bowen, but what the hell is going to be my excuse for buying DC products? I have to come up with a whole new set of lies! "No really honey, I have always loved this character!"

Congrats John! DC Direct will now be getting some of my fleeting dollars! I can't wait to see your stuff! (that doesn't sound right) I can't wait to see the sculpts you do for DC!

Once they see how quickly John's sculpts sell out, they'll get hip! John is super talented and a fantastic, artist, but he did mention that Hawkman got the art directors attention and is sitting on his desk, big ups to the forum and Danny for having at least a minor part in it. Not taking anything from John and his accomplishment, but it does go to show how a place like this where artists, collectors and people with resources get together can help make good things happen!

This is great news for everyone involved. I just hope they let you do more than the DC Big Three.

Congraduations by the way, John! I always buy DC figures, u know, I love their figures b/c they look like mini-statues with articulations instead of plain figures and their paintjobs are excellent!! Now DC got at least couple of great sculptors: Ray and John. Ray's Darkseid kicks assssss.
