No, not faux bronze. Jerry has talked about releasing real bronze statues priced about the same as Moore's real bronzes.

That was would be, like made to appear that it's a very old statue and has weathering to it.

Digging up an old thread here but WOW at the idea of a bronze Street Fighter statue. They're way out of my price range but I wouldn't rule myself out one day becoming a collector.
The only character I can imagine even fits the idea of a bronze statue is Dhalsim. Intricate details really do work best with bronze IMO. The colour and history of bronze also fits the character.
