I am underwhelmed.

She is leaning forward funny, like she is about to fall on her face.

Face is nothing special and why does she has such heavy eyeliner. Uma was very natural in these movies.

Sword needs to be higher, in front of her face.

Base is extremely boring. I would have liked a textured wooden floor or the lit up floor from the scene where she fights the Crazy 88.
(No, I don't expect it to actually light up, but clear resin made to look like the floor would have been a great touch.
There is just too much yellow. I liked the lighter hair in the concept art. Uma doesn't have yellow hair.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I think they misinterpreted the original art's stance. I feel like her right foot should have been planted much more flat and that would have eliminated the too far forward/unbalanced feel. Both feet weren't meant to be on the tippy toes.

It's still a must buy for kill bill fans.

They got the shoes right but her face is off from the concept art. I hope they aren't finished and still tweaking things. It could and should be a bit better. She looks kind of bored.

Too bad it looks like once again we are getting boring bases for another Kotobukiya line. It's doubtful that they will make detailed bases that will fit two characters for a battle base.

Honestly, if they don't tweak it, I am going to pass and get the NECA version. IMO that is far superior to this piece. And I collect all bishoujo lines. If these pieces are based on actual movie characters, they need to be more true to them. It lacks attitude, believable stance and has a boring face. The face I can live with, but the stance has to be tweaked,

Yeah the stance is the major killer of this piece imo. If they fix this piece they need to start there.

Did NECA make a new version or the old one? I kind of recall seeing that and not being impressed. Or knowing that it would have a NECA factory paint job that wasn't as good as their prototype.

I've said before that Koto needs to do more with the faces on some of these bishoujo pieces. I've passed on tons because of that. I think Sniper Wolf was the last one. For every really good bishoujo they have so many with generic faces. We got lucky with Chucky it seems. The Bride really needs a good face with intent.

If they got Sucker Punch and pulled this bored face look for those girls I would be disappointed.
