So, I saw this on Facebook. It had the hash tag SDCC17, so I'm sure the full reveal will be tomorrow on preview night.

This better not be a GD exclusive! I will never forgive Koto. The fact they've never done a new sculpt as an Exclusive though and that they could just be debuting the full art at SDCC makes me think/hope it's just a normal production piece. The best production piece ever (that isn't Jubilee of course. :P )

 I do love that Jubilee bish.
They've done con-exclusive new sculpts for the ArtFX+ line, which is less egregious than a Bishoujo and at least made sense given how little Alfred, Bruce and t-shirt Supes would've sold at retail (they turned out amazing, though.)
I'm more than sick of Koto exclusives. For as desperately as they've been offering direct-only EXs, one would think they're losing tons of money distributing through retailers.

Ah, yeah, sorry I should have specified Bishoujo.
I'm not a fan of the exclusives either. They are just too freaking hard to get. And I hate variants because I am against them in general.

 I can't decide if I'm more tolerant of variants if they're announced up-front (like Koto) or if they come after and improve upon aspects of the original release (like Yamato and Sideshow in some cases.) I probably echo your sentiments more in not liking them at all, but I've caught myself buying them occasionally for the latter reason. Especially in the case of Bishoujos though, exclusives overappreciate in value while devaluing the regular versions in a way I feel undeserved for the overall slight differences.
