The Northman

Very excited to see Robert Eggers' The Northman tonight at an advanced screening. The reviews I've read have been full of praise (what I've read on top of the trailers have been something else). Eggers is on a roll; let's see if he can go 3 for 3.

Here's the latest trailer -

Hoping to see this in the next week or so. Looks amazing with a stellar cast and I trust the director's track record.

I've heard some mixed reviews, including some concerning comments from Egger himself regarding studio interference, but I'm still very excited about it.

Some films benefit from being hands off and some from having another set of eyes check them. We will only know the final product and everything I've seen I'm excited to see it.

Agreed on your second point and partly on your first point. How long can any company survive if they constantly cater to a small number of complainers though? Have you seen the the stock points for Disney and Netflix lately?
