It's not based on MK4 the way MK 9 was on MK1-3. MKX actually takes place 25-30 years in the future.

i hope he isn't slow as in mk 9 damn he weighs a ton in that game. i think they went with a too realistic view with reptile's pacing in mk9

And Jerry i know you guys are almost done with IX characters and thats fine but since MKX is ten year anniversary please do a BUNCH in MKX format please and i will buy them all

They said that some of the costumes that have been shown might be the Alt costumes and i really think that's gonna be the case with Reptile or at least it is. I like the deign but i'm hoping for something a bit more Ninja-esque for his other costume.

Still its way better than this isn't it

considering his opening line is about eating flesh I think the ninja angle is taking a backseat to his lizardness this time around

Sarah my apologies. When Reptile was first revealed by Nether Realm I got excited and just thought about the possibilities of a statue coming out for him. However if you noticed in the thread title I didn't attach "PCS" to it because nothing is official at this point.

Sorry my bad. I'm pretty sure PCS got something in the pipeline since they have already started the MKX line.
