New original art podcast/video now up!

The latest episode of The Felix Comic Art Podcast is up! Our guest this time is super-collector David Mandel. David was a writer, producer, and director on SEINFELD and CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, and he is now the showrunner for VEEP. But who cares about all that...more importantly, he's put together an unbelievable comic art collection! Listen as he shares stories about his early collecting days, winning the DARK KNIGHT RETURNS splash (yes, THAT splash), and his enemies list! Here's the link:

And when you're done, check out this companion video on our YouTube channel where David does a show-and-tell with a few of his pieces:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVOkLZ2ds9Q

Our next episode will be up in February with another special guest. In the meantime, if you have any questions about the first two episodes, Felix Comic Art, or the hobby in general, shoot me an e-mail. If I have time, I'll do a bonus episode where I answer them. Thanks for listening, and enjoy!

Felix

The YouTube video was great! The story behind the Cockrum X-Men ad was very cool.

2 fantastic podcasts so far. Great to hear both a dealer and collectors side. You have to go back to Dave Mandels and video a lot more goodies. He has an amazing collection

Rather than start a new thread, I'll just use this existing one: The latest episode of The Felix Comic Art Podcast is up!:

http://felixcomicart.libsyn.com/

Our guest is novelist/Kirby expert Glen Gold. You can check out Glen's show-and-tell video on our YouTube channel:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxI...barfIuwUnkJMig

I'm especially happy with this video, as Glen not only shares rare insight into Kirby, but also shows why panel pages can be uniquely beautiful.

Lastly, if you enjoy this series, please leave a rating/review on iTunes.

Thanks!
