That was always BS, pretty much in keeping with the line though :P Like for example what was Neytiri then? :P

How do you display it? With the sword or no?

I wonder what exactly is leaning though? Is it the pegs that start to give or it there some other part that forces these to lean? That is at least the 6th one I've heard about leaning on this.

I don't know why some are leaning mine has the skull head and scythe and been on display on a table top since I got it 4 years ago.The room is not airconditioned and in summer it gets above 40C and winter below 10C and it is as rock solid as the day I put him up.
P.S. up yours SS (non)collectables
Cheers Mick

If they're going to repeat a statue then repeat it. Don't mess around with leaving parts out.

Just comparing...

Original
- comes with extras: helmeted head and sword
- environment base
- scythe handle rounded at top
- scythe blade where it connects to the handle shaped different
- exposed left arm with outward grip
- brighter chest plate armor and accents (could be lighting) with rusted spots
- armor over the skirt is rounded

Newer Variant
- no extras, in fairness it keeps the original unique
- pedestal base
- scythe handle rounded towards bottom
- scythe blade where it connects to the handle shaped different
- armored left arm with inward grip (to accommodate the change of scythe handle)
- more rusted or darker chest plate armor
- armor over the skirt comes to a crease in the middle and is more pointed
The differences are so minor it's hard to notice any big enough differences. Put both at a comic shop at each end of the store and people would think its the same statue. It's only some small changes and minor paint tweaks. It's really the exact same overall even with the small differences. If these wasn't pointed out like above I still would not know after looking at both pics. A small wrinkle in the clothing, a bent or wright staff, a little darker paint...not enough imo to call it a new statue. but looking at it as a reissue of the first I admit it does look pretty cool.

For a long time I had it with the helmet, but always with the sword.
