I would have preferred Johnny with a rounder jaw line, but it's a great illustration. Ben looks absolutely terrific!

I drew it all. This is all my original work. I've been drawing for over 36 years, and I pride myself on being a diverse artists. I've worked hard to hone my skills over the years. I've been drawing professionally since 1996, after I attended the Joe Kubert School. This drawing pays tribute to Jack Kirby, but there are no swipes here. The drawing's all me.

I actually have a WIP tutorial on drawing the Thing on PencilJack. Check it out if you get the chance: http://www.penciljack.com/forum/show...utorial-Part-1

I also did a tutorial on the "Kirby Krackle" a few years back. Some of you might enjoy that one: http://www.penciljack.com/forum/show...-quot-Tutorial

Thanks for the great feedback, guys! I'm glad you like the drawing! I really had fun drawing the characters in a way that was reminiscent to Jack Kirby's FF. I normally draw the Thing, Hulk and Dr. Doom to have that Kirby vibe regardless. It's just how I see those characters.

The guy who got the Thing piece also got a Hulk from me last year. I thought you guys might enjoy a gander at that one too. This was drawn on 11x17 bristol board, and was inked with a #3 Raphael Kolinsky brush. I used Speedball SuperBlack India Ink:
