Adam asks the masters - Shiflett Bros.

Hello, my name is Adam and I've been sculpting for 2 years. I am entirely self-taught, so there are many pitfalls I have run into while developing my process. On a constant quest for self-improvement, I've decided to start asking a sculpting-related question to a different master sculptor(s) every day.

Ok, next up are the amazingly talented Shiflett Brothers.

My question for you guys is:
"How long do you typically spend on a piece?"
Obviously that depends on scale and complexity, but for my purposes, let's say something like a a standard 6-8 inches figure, superhero type, with a very simple base and fairly simple pose.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm spending too long on a piece or not enough time. I always spend longer on faces and hands, which I assume is normal. I just wanted to compare how much time I put in with top-industry sculptors.

Thank you, and you guys are awesome!
