Hot Toys have official pic's up of both Black Widow and Taskmaster
By the looks of things, Hot Toys appear to have tweaked Black Widow's portrait to look younger, when compared to the original images that appeared during a Sideshow Collectibles Live event, which appeared to show a portrait that looked like the portrait they used for their End Game Black Widow figure.
It makes a welcome change for Hot Toys to release something new that isn't Star Wars, Iron Man, Spider-man related.
Just pre_ordered both Black Widow and Taskmaster from ToysWonderland. I opted for Batch 2, for the better price point.
Who knows, if sales are slow (which i doubt they will be) ToysWonderland might ship me Batch 1 pieces, which i think they did with Tony Stark (Team Suit)
On average i tend to visit the cinema about once every 3 years. I can see me making an effort to see Black Widow at the local cinema.
These aren’t Marvel Legends figures that usually end up on the clearance aisle. Hot Toys isn’t going to produce figures until they have a preorder count from their stores and Sideshow. Plus Sideshow usually has about a month preorder window for resellers.
I still thing Widow’s head is too big or her upper torso is too small.
@jedi_don the tight white outfit might be making the portrait look slightly over sized. I guess there is time to fix it.
Someone on a live chat commented on Hot Toys using a new photographer/poser for their promo shots. While a number of the images show backdrops featuring various locations, one shot appears to show what might be an actual Hot Toys Red Guardian figure (close up section).
I am up for Red Guardian and Yelena. Now that Taskmaster has been revealed, i wonder if they will offer and unmasked version? ..knowing Hot Toys, they will if they can.
