It's cool that it comes with real sand, but it sounds like a pain to deal with.

Open up the package and sand is everywhere, fun!

Does... does anyone want to tell them?

My bad then. It is not the wrong sword. I didn't remember this sword in the arena. They switched parts of the attire between combats.

The leather straps being too small complaint stands firm though

Real metal chainmail confirmed.

Portrait looks a little better here without the dramatic lighting:

The figurines in the sand are a nice touch. I wonder what the empty base looks like.

Yeah, his boots need to be longer. A few inches in real life, so maybe 2-3 cm in 1/3 scale.
That is real good news. Hope they will release a photo of it once they have the proto ready.

So, they have combined the two scenes together, a mix-and-match approach. Not a huge fan of that but it makes more sense with the shield included. The statue does look good though.

Human anatomy is not their forte. They need to re-sculpt the legs.

Real sand on the base like that on a beach?! It is the laziest way ever to create a base.

I would much prefer they sculpt and paint the sand on the base. Don't want to deal with real sand on a statue.

I'm curious how the real sand will be implemented. Presumably it's a solid base underneath with a layer of real sand glued to the top...but if so, how easily will the sand become dislodged and flake off.
