I have packets and packets of LR44's as those appear to be the most popular sized button cell batteries used in a lot of collectibles (outside of Hot a Toys).

So usually I have spares aplenty, for when something like that happens.

Thanks to all who help. It came on! Now I’m back to being excited again instead of feeling down. This piece is awesome! Love the memories it brings back. It’s does remind me of the toy. Only much better! The presence is really good! The light is on below. Not super bright but on. I can definitely tell it’s on. I will add a pic tonight.

Yeah it is.

Tha base is really cool. And Megatron is so much bigger than Optimus.

If you have both, you basically get a updated scene from show of them about to battle.

That Te Rex head is amazing. I can see it in all it’s glorious detail from my couch 10 feet away.

Still no shipping notice for me yet.

Not that I'm complaining. Have nowhere to put it.

Ok just came home turned on the megatron and the light was fine. I took some pics of it and when I was done the light in the T. rex head faded to nothing again. I will buy another set of new batteries to try again. I sure hope this statue is not going to give me a heart attack trying to get it right. This is really hard work and stressful here. But we all know why we put up with it.
