History Channel documentary: Superheroes Decoded
http://www.history.com/shows/superheroes-decoded
Has anyone watched these documentaries yet? I came across one of the episodes while flipping through channels last night and recorded the rebroadcasts to watch in full later this week. It seems to cover the history of superheroes from Action Comics #1 to the current big budget films featuring many talking heads within the comic book industry.

I watched ep. one, but found it very much like the excellent Superheroes, A Never Ending Battle that PBS aired back in 2013. Almost the same show, it feels like.

I only watched a few minutes of episode two last night, but it had interviews with Sana Amanat and G. Willow Wilson about Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel so the ground covered has definitely been updated since 2013.

I watched it two nights ago. Let me say there is pure joy in just listening to Kevin Conroy narrate. Nothing like Batman to give you the inside logic of superhero creators.
Also gave me an appreciation for Neal Adams who has one hell of a reputation.
