𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿
Tony Stark's third Iron Man Armour, the Mark III first appeared in Marvel Studios' Iron Man (2008). An upgrade from the Mark II, the MK3 was constructed of a gold-titanium alloy and the first suit to adopt the classic red and gold color scheme. Stark later added the Mark 3 to his hall of armour and has since become one of his most iconic suits.
𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗲
Expertly crafted from resin, this limited edition statue stands 109.5cm tall, with an action pose depicting Iron Man with his right palm repulsor aimed and ready for action. The statue has been painted to near perfection as it captures the iconic red and gold colour scheme. The 1/2 MK3 is available in two versions: The normal ?clean? version, the other a battle-damaged version.
𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀
The base of this Iron Man Mark III 1/2 statue features concrete and steel debris as well as a partially exposed missile recapturing some of the key elements from the 2008 film. Special features include LEDs fitted in the palm repulsor, arc reactor and both eyes making this a must have for your Iron Man collection.

Looks like it is even lower than I predicted at $2,515.

You were basically spot on given the price of the battle damaged

At this price I'm very tempted but only the battle damaged version

I'm not sure I'm getting this, as I already have another 1/2 Iron Man on preorder, but if I were to get this I would get the clean version.

The battle damage looks very detailed and all, but imo it seems overdone and even more muted than the clean version.

Yeah a few people are saying the same. To me the paint just isn't quite there on the clean one, so the battle damaged fits better. I agree it's very dirty lol

And I can't bear to think what shipping will be...

Looks good, I wish the clean version had more weathering, and the gold was brushed. Like the Sideshow 1/4 statue.

agreed, the clean version looks too pristine. I really dig the battle damage version. Would be sweet to have the Mark 1 and 3 flanking each other.
