If it isn't an exact replica of what was used in the film, does it really matter?
In fact, if the prop isn't an exact replica then it shouldn't be called one...

These 2nd, 3rd or even 4th edition "non-replicas" props that are issued in chrome, gold, bronze or whatever other money-making "get it while you can" stunts are getting real old...

Is it just me or is anyone else finding it hilarious how "variants" have so quickly become part of the way to do business for so many companies these days...

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Variants have turned me away from a lot of collecting these days. It is a joke and is cruel to the collector that this stuff is aimed for.

I completely agree with Risingstar and Darthrobbler. There is absolutely no reason why anyone should buy these "variants", especially when they are priced higher than the "regular" versions

I hav eto second this!

But You are most likely refering to the 0.45 size, am I right. I know there are two new out there the "European Exclusieve" ones. It is more something for the collector who want´s to own every 0.45 lightsaber.

Yup, as far as I know it's only the 0.45s which came out in "variants"
