Not at all. I'm fine with my regular version. In fact, I like it better. All gold doesn't look good on a lightsaber.

I agree completely. I don't understand the appeal of a "prop replica" that isn't even a replica of the original prop. 
"Elite Edition" premium materials enhancements are one thing, since they at least capture the feel of the original prop, but this is ridiculous. I wouldn't display it for free.
The low ES does insure that it makes a great flipper though.

It is the rarity of this item that makes it "worth" so much. Only 5 in the world.
How cool for the winner though - she just got a free $4,000 (or more) to do with
as she chooses. That'll make for a neat Chistmas for her I'd imagine.
Cap - Yes, I'm looking at the bright side - the money I saved by not winning
this gold lightsaber can now go for more group commissions!
