Got one a few days ago...it's on it's way. Was a nice use of the $30 Collector Society coupon. The shipping was only $7 something too when I could've sworn a few months ago when I checked it was quoting like $20 something to ship them...which was ridiculous even with the $30 coupon.

In addition to the design being considerably different (IMO), the newer versions are a bit thinner in the shaft and only take 3 batteries. As for the design differences, how does Lucas explain that?
