X-Men DOFP 8/10 Good, fun movie. Not enough time in the future but it was an enjoyable movie. Think I liked First Class a little better though.

the secret life of walter mitty: 6/10. if you can bear through the first half of the movie, the second half is actually not bad.
that awkward moment: 6/10. i was waiting for something awkward to happen, but it never showed up. i guess the awkward part was me renting and watching this movie.

great film. killah twist at the end. totally unpredictable.
film fooled me right till the end. and thats hard to do. i usually can predict whats going to happen in a film. usually. but not this one.

The Way, Way Back (2013) - 4/10
My wife demanded we watch this one, due to the cast. Don't be fooled.
I might have rated this movie more highly if it'd been released 30 years ago. Nerdy teen accompanies his mom, her new boyfriend, and the boyfriend's daughter for a stay at the boyfriend's beach house. Nerdy teen is taken under the wing of a wacky free-spirited guy who works at the local water park. Nerdy teen then matures and comes to realize his self-worth. This movie has a surprisingly good cast for such trite lightweight material - especially Sam Worthington, who is basically playing a role suited for Meatballs-era Bill Murray.

Yeah it's pretty terrible. Thought it would be better. If it weren't for Anniston I would have fallen asleep.
