Underwold - Blood Wars 6/10

They actually and I am not kidding tried to evoke a LOTR like battle scene in this movie right down to the music . Think the close quarters helms deep battle scenes. It was f#^*kin pathetic. Why are they making these movies again?3 extra stars for Kate Beckinsale still rocking it in that latex .

Train To Basan (2016) 8/10 - MoonKnight1971 rated this film & I decided to give it a whirl based on his recommendation. Wow! One of the best zombie movies I have ever seen with some really great acting wrapped around the action. Unique, fresh situations w/ 3 or 3 backstories that humanize the story very well. I never thought I'd say this about a zombie movie, but the final 5 minutes had me really tearing up. The little girl in this movie is incredible. What an amazing young actress as our others in the cast. Free on Netflix.

Power Rangers 7/10

I watced it with my sister. We were like we both liked puberty rangers when we were at puberty so lets see what's up with the movie and i expected movie to be better as both visually and story wise and it was. The giant creature which puberty rangers fought against wasn't totally retardet looking lol this is a big change that comes with the movie. lol The Stoy was fun. I liked it.

Logan 8/10

A solid mutant film starring a beloved, non-neutered character. This is the wolverine we deserve. I only wish Hugh didn't have to wait so long to release the true rage.

I'm happy with everything except I feel like a lot was trying to be accomplished here. You have the first R-rated x-man movie. So the director squeezes in plenty of cussing and a boob scene. The boob scene seemed unnecessary as if it was a blatant shout out to adults to let them know this is for you. If the writing and action is solid, we don't need the nudity unless it actually brings something to the story. It's okay though, didn't help or hurt the film really.

This is a very strong 8 for a very heavy film.

Hell or High Water 7.5/10
An absolutely solid film. Well acted all around and a good character driven narrative.

I watched Train to Busan on Netflix, based on my brother's recommendation and from fellow forum members.

Really good movie, 8/10. That little girl was excellent in it. Very emotional movie considering it was a zombie thriller. Definitely recommend watching.

Power Rangers 7 out of 10.

I think the reason I scored it a 7 more than anything is that I took my 11 year old daughter who loved it. I felt a connection with what it was like when I was 11 and watching the original show. That bond was cool.

Into the Badlands Season 1 - 6.8/10

I really want to love this show. Working in production, it's mind-boggling to me that they can put fight sequences like this on TV. TV episodes are usually shot in 7-8 days. Some of these intricate sequences could take a day or two easily.

The lead and the boy are pretty awful actors and the show's antagonists outclass them in every way. I hate feeling like I want to cheer for the villains when I know it isn't the show's intention. Set Design, Fight Choreography and Villains make this worth the time.
