What I don´t like is people saying he is a killer because there are a dozen issues where he kills, ignoring the fact that there are a thousand more that go in the opposite direction. When you said on your comment "Doesn't matter, he has killed throughout his 75 years, be it on purpose or accident, bottom line he is a killer", you are ignoring the exact same thing you just argued, that there are a lot of different versions of the character. We can´t consider something as a defining trait of character just because it happened a few times, especially in comics. His moral code was far more developed and is far more present.

BvS didn´t use the most classic Batman and that´s fine, but let´s not act that the Batman we watched on cinema is the most accurate adaptation of the "classic" Batman. It´s a different version of the character and that´s the argument we should use when defending it, and not "Batman was always a killer in the comics", which is incorrect for most part of the character history.
Excellent post.

It might force the writers into a bit of a corner when all of the villains are dead, but so be it.
you guys are too funny. I even spilled my milk while reading this.

I didn't love all the choices they made with BvS but there were significantly worse films put out last year ala Gods of Egypt and Independence Day 2. BvS, for all it's flaws was well made, or at least artistically made. It's razzie wins were nothing more than click bait and a way to draw attention to said razzies.

Yeah, I don't think it was that bad. Just the most notable. Easy target.

It was not the best, but certainly not the worst.
